Accepted domain extensions for the ICP filing (TLDs and ccSLDs)

Not all domains and domain endings can be used for applying for an ICP license. For example, domain names that violate Chinese laws or Chinese censorship are not allowed.

The following lists represent all accepted top-level domains (TLDs) and Chinese country code second-level domains (ccSLDs) that may be used for ICP filing. 

First, of course, the two national TLDs of China are available:

• .cn
• .中国

Below the .cn TLD there are several second-level domains, which are also accepted. It should be noted that, for example, the domain extensions .net and .org are only possible in combination with the .cn TLD, whereas the domain extension .com can be used alone as a TLD, but may also be used in combination with the .cn TLD as a second-level domain (.com.cn).
